WHAT IS MEDIATION?
Mediation is a process by which parties to a dispute arrive at a mutually agreeable resolution to an issue under consideration. When resolution can not be reached, the parties are left with a limited set of legal choices:
Seek police intervention.
Retain legal counsel and seek civil adjudication of the issue.
Drop the complaint and continue with the relationship.
Drop the complaint.
Seek mediation assistance.
